Full-Stack Developer Needed to Build an Earned Wage Access (EWA) MVP

Overview We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer or small development team to build the first MVP of Bohikor. Bohikor is an Earned Wage Access (EWA) platform that allows companies to offer salary advances to their employees before payday. Companies onboard onto the platform, register their employees, configure company policies, and manage wage advance requests. Employees can then request access to a portion of their earned salary based on configurable business rules. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the project and build a secure, well-structured MVP that can be piloted with real customers. This is a long-term opportunity for the right developer or team. Responsibilities You will be responsible for building the MVP, including: Mobile application for employees Web administration dashboard Backend APIs Authentication and role-based access Company onboarding and management Employee management Wage advance request workflow Business rule implementation Notifications Reporting Audit logging API documentation Deployment documentation We expect you to recommend improvements where appropriate and build a solution that is maintainable and ready for future growth. Product Features The MVP should support features such as: Employee Mobile App Authentication View profile View available wage balance Request salary advance View request history Receive notifications Company Administration Company onboarding Employee management Configure company policies Review wage requests View reports Platform Administration Company management Platform-wide configuration Platform reporting Monitor wage requests Business Rules The platform should support configurable rules such as: Maximum percentage of salary available for advance Minimum time between requests Maximum number of requests within a pay cycle Company-specific limits Platform-wide limits The system should be designed so additional rules can be introduced without major redevelopment. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who has: Experience building complete web and mobile applications Strong backend development experience Mobile application development experience Experience designing scalable systems Strong database design skills Clean and maintainable coding practices Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Good communication skills Experience building fintech, payroll, HR, banking, lending, or financial applications is highly preferred.
