Technical Discovery & Prototype Speech Service

Are you an experienced full-stack developer good at implementing modern systems? Are you quick to help evaluate and prototype a web-based services? This is Phase 1 of a larger project. The initial goal is to research and validate suitable speech technologies, build a simple proof of concept, and provide recommendations for the technical direction before moving into full development. The prototype should demonstrate a clean, responsive web interface connected to one or more speech recognition APIs, allowing us to evaluate accuracy, responsiveness, and overall user experience. This might be a good fit if you have experience in: * Full-stack web development * Modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) * Back-end development (Node.js, Java, Python, or similar) * REST APIs * Third-party API integration * Speech recognition or speech-processing APIs (preferred) * Clean, modular, maintainable code * UI/UX with an emphasis on simple, polished interfaces Phase 1 Deliverables * Review project requirements * Recommend suitable technologies and architecture * Evaluate one or more speech recognition APIs * Build a simple working prototype * Document recommendations for the next development phase If Phase 1 is successful, there is strong potential for ongoing work as we continue developing the service.
