Website and IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a creative, reliable, and detail-oriented Junior Website Design and IT Support Specialist to update, design, and maintain our websites while providing basic technical support to our global team. This remote freelance role requires approximately 10 hours per month. Responsibilities Design and update website pages, landing pages, layouts, and visual elements. Publish and format text, images, speaker profiles, program information, forms, and links. Create simple graphics and digital assets that align with our brand guidelines. Improve website usability, navigation, responsiveness, accessibility, and visual consistency. Perform routine website maintenance, quality assurance, testing, and troubleshooting. Identify and correct broken links, formatting issues, outdated content, and performance problems. Provide basic support for hosting, domains, email accounts, user access, and permissions. Troubleshoot Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, email, and other collaboration tools. Support integrations involving forms, newsletters, payment systems, CRM platforms, and analytics. Maintain documentation for website processes, accounts, integrations, and recurring tasks. Follow cybersecurity, privacy, access-control, and data-protection practices. Respond promptly to time-sensitive website and event-support requests. Qualifications Experience designing and maintaining websites using WordPress, Hostinger, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, or similar platforms. Working knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Cloud. Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, branding, responsive design, and user experience. Familiarity with HTML and CSS; basic JavaScript knowledge is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot common website, email, account-access, and collaboration-tool issues. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, website analytics, and SEO fundamentals. Ability to use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools responsibly and productively. Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and multicultural environment. Interest in responsible AI, education, technology, or nonprofit work is preferred.
