Django & React Code Auditor - E-commerce ERP/MRP

We are an established e-commerce brand selling across Amazon, Shopify, and TikTok. We recently had a custom, in-house ERP and MRP application built for us by a development agency. The application handles critical operations including inventory management, order routing, supplier purchasing, etc. Before we fully transition our live operations to this platform, we want an independent, senior-level Full-Stack Engineer / Security Auditor to conduct a thorough code audit. Your job will be to identify security vulnerabilities, architectural flaws, bottlenecks, and stability risks. The app was built on Django and React. Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work You will be performing a deep-dive review of our codebase repository. The audit must focus on three core pillars: 1. Security & Data Protection API Credentials & Secrets: Ensure that sensitive keys/tokens for Amazon, Shopify, and TikTok are stored and handled securely (e.g., environment variables, AWS Secrets Manager) and not hardcoded. Vulnerability Assessment: Scan for OWASP Top 10 risks, injection flaws, broken authentication, and insecure direct object references (IDOR) within the Django framework. Data Isolation: Verify that multi-user permissions are strictly enforced so users only see the data they are authorized to access. 2. Stability & Performance Database Optimization: Review Django ORM queries for "N+1" query problems, missing database indexes, and potential locking issues during heavy inventory syncs. Concurrency & Rate Limiting: Evaluate how the app handles API rate limits from Amazon, Shopify, and TikTok. Are webhooks handled asynchronously (e.g., using Celery/Redis)? Error Handling: Ensure failed API syncs fail gracefully without crashing the app or leaving data in a mismatched state. 3. Maintainability & Code Quality React Architecture: Check for state management issues, memory leaks, and adherence to clean React patterns. Django Standards: Verify adherence to clean Python/Django coding standards, proper test coverage, and documentation.
