Job Overview:
We are looking for an engaging and creative Freelance Game Development Trainer to teach a 12-year-old student the fundamentals of mobile and video game development. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in game design and beginner-friendly coding, with the ability to simplify concepts for young learners.
The focus of this training will be more on game design, creativity, and logic-building, while gradually introducing coding concepts used in mobile game development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct interactive online training sessions tailored for a young learner (age 12)
Teach game design fundamentals (core focus area):
Game mechanics
Storyboarding
Character design
Level design
UI/UX basics for games
Introduce mobile game development concepts
Teach beginner-level coding for games (age-appropriate):
Scratch / Blockly (preferred for beginners)
Basic Python or C# (optional, depending on student level)
Guide the student in building simple playable games
Use tools such as:
Scratch
Unity (basic level)
GameMaker / Construct
Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and logical thinking
Provide assignments, mini-projects, and feedback
Track student progress and adapt teaching pace accordingly
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in game development or game design
Prior experience teaching kids or beginners (highly preferred)
Strong understanding of:
Game design principles
Basic programming logic
Mobile game concepts
Ability to make learning fun, interactive, and engaging
Good communication skills and patience with young learners
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with tools like Scratch, Unity, Roblox Studio, or Construct
Background in animation or storytelling for games
Portfolio of simple games or projects
Training Details:

Deliverables:
