REST API Developer Needed for HR SaaS Platform Integration

Overview We are building The Blond HR, a remote-first HR and recruitment platform. We need an experienced REST API developer to design, build, and document a clean API layer that connects our core platform with external services. This is a fixed-scope engagement. We have a clear spec, a staging environment ready, and we need execution, not discovery. If you read specs carefully and deliver clean, documented endpoints, this will be a smooth contract. Scope of work 1. API design and endpoint build: Build RESTful endpoints per provided spec. Clean request/response structure, proper HTTP methods, error handling, and status codes. 2. Authentication layer: Implement token-based auth (JWT or API key) with appropriate access control per endpoint type. 3. Staging environment testing: All work tested on staging before delivery. Provide test results or Postman collection as part of handoff. 4. API documentation: Deliver endpoint documentation (Postman, Swagger, or equivalent). Must be readable by a non-developer team member.
