# Senior Full-Stack E-Commerce Architect / Lead Developer Needed ## Existing React Frontend + Backend Development ### PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING This is **not** a simple WooCommerce, Shopify, or WordPress website project. If your experience is primarily installing plugins, customizing themes, or building basic template-based websites, this project is not the right fit. We are looking for a **senior-level full-stack e-commerce developer or architect** who can review an existing React application, recommend the correct backend architecture, and complete the remaining development and integrations. We need someone who can make strong technical decisions and build custom functionality—not someone who will need to learn on the job. ## Project Overview The customer-facing frontend has already been built in **React**. We now need an experienced developer to review the existing application and determine the best backend architecture before completing development. Possible solutions may include: * Headless WooCommerce * Supabase * A custom Node.js or other backend * A hybrid architecture * Another solution you recommend We are not committed to one specific platform. We want the developer to recommend the best long-term solution based on: * Scalability * Performance * Security * Maintainability * Payment integrations * Shipping and fulfillment integrations * Inventory management * Ease of administration A detailed developer specification packet outlining the required features will be provided to shortlisted candidates. ## Timeline and Budget This is a **fixed-price project**, not an hourly position. Several senior U.S.-based developers have reviewed our scope of work and developer specification packet and estimated the project at approximately **20 hours of development work for a skilled senior developer**. We are therefore looking for someone with comparable experience and efficiency who can complete the project in approximately **20 hours or less**. Our target is to have the project completed within approximately **one week of the start date**. We are not looking for a developer who plans to stretch this project over one to three months. Please apply only if you have the senior-level experience, availability, and technical ability to complete the project within the requested timeline. **Fixed project budget: Up to $2,000.** Please do not submit an hourly proposal. Your proposal should include your complete fixed-price quote for the project. The timeline and estimate assume that no major undisclosed problems are discovered in the existing React codebase during the initial review. ## Initial Technical Review The selected developer will first review the existing React application and developer packet.
