PDF to Editable InDesign/AI

I have several layouts supplied only as PDFs and a few accompanying PNGs. They are already approved for print, so my goal is simply to rebuild them as fully-editable Adobe InDesign or Illustrator files—whichever application you feel will keep the structure cleanest for press...
