Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Augmented Development) Type: Full-time The Role You'll work across three interconnected codebases at different maturity levels — a modern Nx monorepo (Next.js 16 / React 19 / TypeScript / tRPC), a consumer e-commerce storefront (Next.js 14 / Capacitor), and a legacy PHP WMS portal (CodeIgniter 3, ~46K commits) that requires incremental migration. You must ramp fast, operate autonomously, and leverage AI tooling to multiply your output. Tech Stack Frontend: Next.js 14-16, React 18-19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 3-4, Zustand, TanStack Query/Table, Radix UI, Framer Motion Mobile: Capacitor 7 (iOS/Android hybrid) API: tRPC v11 (end-to-end type-safe), REST Backend: Node.js (Next.js API routes + SQS workers), PHP 7.2 (legacy) Data: MySQL, MS SQL Server, Redis, Elasticsearch AI/ML: AWS Bedrock (LLM orchestration), S3 Vectors (embeddings/similarity search), Textract (OCR), TensorFlow.js (client-side) Infra: AWS (ECS, S3, SQS, SES, EventBridge, CDK), Docker, Bitbucket Pipelines Tooling: Nx 22, pnpm, Playwright, Storybook 10, ESLint, Prettier Key Responsibilities Ship features across the portal monorepo (8 apps, 12 shared libs, layered architecture) Maintain and extend the consumer e-commerce site + native apps Migrate functionality from the legacy PHP monolith into the modern stack Build and improve AI-powered workflows (invoice extraction, visual product search, LLM-driven automation, neural recommendations) Use AI coding tools (Copilot) daily to accelerate delivery Must-Have Qualifications 4+ years production experience with React + Next.js + TypeScript Comfortable with monorepo architecture (Nx or Turborepo) Working knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL preferred) and Redis Experience with AWS services (at minimum: S3, SQS, ECS or Lambda) Understands LLM/AI fundamentals - prompting, embeddings, RAG patterns - enough to build and debug AI features Actively uses AI-assisted development tools and can articulate when/how they help vs. hinder Can read and reason about legacy PHP code to inform migration decisions Fast ramp-up in complex, undocumented codebases Nice-to-Have Skills tRPC or similar end-to-end type-safe API experience E-commerce domain knowledge Capacitor / hybrid mobile experience AWS CDK or Terraform (IaC) Experience with Playwright or Cypress E2E testing Warehouse/logistics domain exposure
