Senior Full-Stack Product Engineer

We're an early-stage startup building an investor-facing platform. What you'll do Finish and harden features that are 80% there (call-transcription pipeline, analytics, CRM enrichment, billing edge cases). Own reliability end-to-end: write real tests, reproduce and fix bugs, and verify your own work against the running app — not just types and unit tests. Exercise product judgment: many decisions are unspecified. You'll decide the sensible behavior and ship it. Work directly with the founder; small team, high ownership, fast iteration. Tech stack Language: TypeScript (strict), some plain Node. Framework: Next.js 14 (App Router), React 18, server components + API route handlers. Runtime: Node.js 22. Database: SQLite via better-sqlite3 (single-file DB on a persistent volume; additive migrations). Payments: Stripe (subscriptions, trials, webhooks). Email: Resend for transactional mail; IMAP/SMTP integration for an inbound email pipeline. AI: Anthropic Claude API (summarization, extraction, content generation). Meetings/transcription: Recall.ai meeting-bot API; Google Calendar + Microsoft Graph OAuth. Testing: Playwright for end-to-end, plus scripted smoke tests. Infra: deployed on a push-to-deploy PaaS (Railway-style); GitHub-based workflow. Also in the codebase: PDF generation, QR codes, background cron jobs (in-process scheduler), webhook signature verification.
