Job Description:
We are an enterprise SaaS provider looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design and implement a production-grade, autonomous customer operations agent network. This is not a basic ChatGPT wrapper project, we need an engineer who understands deterministic routing and multi-source data grounding.
The agent needs to:
1. Ingest incoming client emails, support tickets, and live chats.
2. Run strict intent classification to separate technical support from high-intent sales queries.
3. Utilize tool-calling / Model Context Protocol (MCP) to check customer tier data inside our PostgreSQL/Supabase database.
4. Route qualified leads directly into our CRM (HubSpot) and trigger an automated response.
5. Deflect technical support by running a semantic RAG search across our internal documentation vector base, ensuring 100% grounded answers without hallucinations.
Tech Stack Requirements:
- Deep experience with LangGraph, CrewAI, or LangChain
- Production experience with OpenAI API or Claude API (specifically Function Calling / Structured Outputs)
- Database proficiency with Supabase/PostgreSQL and Vector Databases (Pinecone/Chroma)
- Ability to build reliable evaluation layers (LangSmith/Braintrust) to monitor token costs and latency.
We have our internal frontend team handling the UI. You will be acting as the Lead AI Backend Architect. A signed NDA is required before accessing our test sandboxes.
