WordPress Developer: Fix Password Reset Email Deliverability + SMS 2FA Setup

Title: WordPress/WooCommerce Developer – Fix Email Deliverability (Password Recovery) + Setup Two-Factor SMS Recovery — Ongoing Partner Description: We run a WooCommerce store (no page builder theme, custom code) and need a skilled WordPress developer to fix a critical email deliverability issue and set up two-factor/SMS account recovery. Project 1: Fix Password Recovery Email Deliverability Password reset and account emails are being blocked or filtered by major providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.), preventing customers from recovering their accounts. We need someone who can: Diagnose and resolve SPF/DKIM/DMARC alignment issues causing rejections Fix or reconfigure our SMTP setup (currently FluentSMTP) — likely migrating to an API-based transactional email provider (Mailgun or SendGrid) instead of relying on server relay Write custom code as needed (not just plugin settings) to ensure critical account emails (password reset, order confirmation, etc.) reliably land in the inbox, not spam/junk Test deliverability across Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook/M365, and other major providers Document root cause and the fix Project 2: Set Up SMS/Text-Based Account Recovery Configure two-factor / text-message-based account recovery using Melapress (or equivalent) on WooCommerce Ensure smooth integration with existing login/account flow, no theme conflicts Tech environment: WordPress + WooCommerce No page-builder theme — custom-coded frontend Custom plugins already in place (age gate, shipping logic, etc.) — need someone comfortable working around existing custom code without breaking it What we're looking for: Strong, demonstrated experience with WordPress email deliverability (SPF/DKIM/DMARC, transactional email APIs) Experience with Melapress or similar WP security/2FA plugins Comfortable writing custom PHP/hooks rather than just adjusting plugin settings Clear communicator, able to explain root cause and fix in plain language Most importantly: we're looking for a long-term development partner, not a one-off gig.
