QA Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance leader to serve as the Chief QA Validator for the Sentient Swarm architecture. In this capacity, you will own the end-to-end quality strategy—designing test frameworks, executing validation protocols, and certifying that all deliverables meet functional, performance, and contractual standards before release. You are the definitive gatekeeper of quality, ensuring that distributed development teams produce reliable, specification-compliant code at every milestone. Core Responsibilities Test Strategy & Execution: Architect and implement comprehensive test suites for FastAPI microservices and AI model outputs. Oversee the automated "Pre-Flight Mathematical Audit" as a prerequisite for all deployments. SOW Quality Auditing: Conduct thorough QA reviews of all technical deliverables against project SOWs and estimation protocols. Validate that completed work satisfies all acceptance criteria prior to milestone payout approval. API Contract Validation: Design and run automated compliance checks to ensure backend implementations strictly conform to Day-0 Data Contracts (VP, ACT, SPLIT, SERVE, etc.). Defect Prevention & Mentorship: Provide actionable, test-driven feedback to distributed engineering teams. Champion quality best practices and drive continuous improvement in testing rigor across the organization. Qualifications QA Engineering Expertise: Extensive experience in quality assurance, with a focus on backend systems and API testing. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on proficiency with FastAPI (Python) and test automation frameworks such as PyTest. Test Automation Skills: Ability to script automated validation for API schemas, latency thresholds, and contract compliance using Python or equivalent tools
