Wordpress Woocommerce Speed Optimization

**Job Title:** WordPress Performance & MySQL Database Optimization Specialist We're looking for an experienced WordPress performance expert to optimize our website's MySQL database and significantly improve page load speed and overall user experience. ### Project Overview Our website is built on WordPress with WooCommerce and serves a large product catalog. We're looking for someone who can identify performance bottlenecks, optimize the database, and improve frontend and backend performance without breaking existing functionality. ### Responsibilities * Analyze and optimize the MySQL database for maximum performance. * Identify and remove unnecessary database overhead (revisions, transients, orphaned data, etc.). * Optimize slow SQL queries and improve query execution times. * Review and optimize WordPress database indexes where appropriate. * Audit plugins and identify database-intensive operations. * Improve WordPress backend responsiveness. * Optimize page load times and Core Web Vitals. * Implement caching strategies (database, object cache, page cache) when appropriate. * Optimize WooCommerce performance for large product catalogs. * Review server configuration and recommend improvements if needed. * Ensure all optimizations are safe, documented, and reversible. ### Required Skills * Advanced MySQL optimization. * Strong WordPress and WooCommerce experience. * Experience profiling slow queries using tools such as Query Monitor, MySQL EXPLAIN, or similar. * Knowledge of Redis, Memcached, or object caching. * Familiarity with LiteSpeed, Nginx, or Apache optimization. * Experience with PHP performance optimization. * Understanding of Core Web Vitals and frontend performance best practices. ### Nice to Have * Experience with large WooCommerce stores. * Experience optimizing Elementor-based websites. * Knowledge of Cloudflare/CDNs. * Linux server administration experience. ### Deliverables * Full performance audit with identified bottlenecks. * Optimized MySQL database. * Improved WordPress backend speed. * Faster frontend loading times. * Before-and-after performance metrics (PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Lighthouse, or similar). * Documentation of all changes made. ### What We're Looking For Please include: * Examples of WordPress websites you've optimized. * Before-and-after performance improvements you've achieved. * Your approach to database optimization. * Estimated timeline. * Your hourly rate or fixed project price.
