AI Systems Engineer needed

About the Role We're looking for an AI Systems Engineer to help build, maintain, and evolve the software systems that power our AI products. This is a software engineering role focused on building scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems around AI—not developing new AI models. You'll work closely with our AI researchers to integrate computer vision models into production, improve existing platforms, and design new capabilities that deliver AI solutions to our customers. f you enjoy solving engineering challenges, designing clean architectures, and building software that enables AI at scale, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities: -Design, develop, and maintain software systems that integrate AI and computer vision models. -Build and improve inference pipelines for AI-powered applications. -Develop backend services and APIs that interact with AI models and related workflows. -Design scalable architectures for deploying AI solutions to customers. -Integrate newly developed AI models into existing production systems. -Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of AI platforms. -Design and enhance workflows for image processing, predictions, annotations, and model evaluation. -Monitor production AI systems and investigate issues related to performance, reliability, and model behavior. -Collaborate closely with AI researchers to transition models from research into production. -Participate in system design discussions and contribute to the long-term evolution of our AI platform. -Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Required Qualifications: -Strong software engineering fundamentals. -Professional experience developing backend applications using Python. -Good understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, particularly computer vision. -Experience integrating AI or machine learning models into software applications. -Ability to design clean, maintainable, and scalable software architectures. -Experience working with REST APIs and service-oriented applications. -Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. -Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate across engineering teams. Experience That Will Help You Succeed: -Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: -Deploying and maintaining AI models in production environments. -Designing scalable systems for AI inference or image processing. -Building systems for managing datasets, annotations, predictions, or model evaluation. -Optimizing application performance, reliability, and scalability. -Working with cloud infrastructure, containerized applications, or distributed systems. -Designing asynchronous processing pipelines and background workers. -Monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting production systems. -Collaborating with AI or data science teams to transition models from research into production.
