Full-Time Senior Full-Stack Engineer / Technical Lead Consultant

Overview: We are looking for a full-time senior full-stack engineer / technical lead consultant to help us take over a new education web app rebuild that is currently in prototype stage. The immediate goal is to stabilize the technical foundation, resolve critical bugs, complete a few remaining MVP features that were not delivered by the current engineer, and launch the MVP as soon as possible. After launch, this person will continue supporting maintenance, enhancements, and future development. This is a 40 hours/week role. The immediate focus will be to take over the current rebuild prototype, review the codebase and technical setup, stabilize the foundation, fix critical bugs, complete the remaining MVP features, and help launch the MVP as soon as possible. After launch, the role will continue as the ongoing engineering owner responsible for maintenance, improvements, and new feature development. This is not just a “build features from tickets” role. We need someone with strong engineering judgment who can quickly assess the current prototype, identify what is usable vs. risky, make practical recommendations, set up proper development workflows, and help move the app toward a stable, maintainable, production-ready platform without losing momentum toward launch.
