ERPNext Developer & Functional Consultant (Full-Time / Long-Term)

We’re seeking a highly skilled ERPNext Developer and Functional Consultant to join our team on a long-term basis. This isn’t a basic setup role. We’re building robust, production-grade ERP systems across multiple businesses, and we need someone who comprehends both technical expertise and operational logic. You’ll collaborate directly with leadership to implement ERPNext across real-world workflows, including Inventory, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Custom Automations. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and deploy ERPNext across multiple modules. - Translate business processes into ERP workflows. - Develop custom apps and scripts using the Frappe framework. - Build reports, dashboards, and operational analytics. - Design and implement approval workflows and automation. - Handle data migration, validation, and system cleanup. - Troubleshoot bugs and optimize system performance. - Support integrations (APIs, webhooks, third-party tools). - Provide user training and documentation. Technical Requirements: - Strong experience with ERPNext and the Frappe Framework. - Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and MariaDB. - Experience with custom scripts, server scripts, and APIs. - Solid understanding of ERP modules (Inventory, Accounting, Sales, Manufacturing). - Experience with workflow automation and business process design. - Ability to debug, optimize, and scale ERP systems. Nice to Have: - Experience in multi-company or multi-country ERP setups. - Knowledge of finance, costing, and inventory valuation. - Experience with real-time dashboards and reporting systems. Familiarity with ClickUp, Slack, or similar tools is a plus. Prior experience in high-growth startups or operational roles is highly desirable. Scope of Work: The Contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: - ERPNext deployment and system setup - Business requirement analysis and workflow design - Module configuration (Inventory, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, CRM, HR) - Custom development using Frappe - Workflow automation and approval structures - Dashboard and report creation - Data migration and validation - Testing, debugging, and issue resolution - User training and documentation - Go-live support and post-implementation stabilization Working Structure: - Full-time engagement with defined sprint cycles - Daily/weekly progress updates - Direct coordination with leadership and internal teams - Tasks managed via project management tools (e.g., ClickUp) Deliverables: - Fully configured ERPNext system aligned with business workflows - Custom scripts, apps, and automation where required Accurate reports and dashboards, clean and validated data migration, documented processes and user guides, stable and optimized system post-go-live, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), timely completion of assigned tasks and sprints, accuracy and reliability of system configuration, reduction in manual processes through automation, system performance and stability, data accuracy and reporting integrity, user adoption and operational efficiency, compliance and expectations, maintaining confidentiality of all company data, following structured development and deployment practices, ensuring proper documentation of all work, and avoiding direct or indirect engagement with company clients are all important aspects to consider.
