URGENT – Amazon Direct Fulfilment / SP-API Developer Needed (Australia preferred)

About us We are an Australian food brand using Amazon Direct Fulfillment with a 3PL (EWE) for fulfilment. We urgently need an experienced developer / API specialist to take over and stabilise an existing Amazon integration. An overseas developer built the integration but we are experiencing issues and need someone who can work in Australian hours and troubleshoot quickly. Current setup Current workflow: Amazon Direct Fulfillment → Custom API → EWE 3PL → Couriers Please The API is already: Built and deployed Approved by Amazon Successfully syncing orders from Amazon into EWE Hosted on Render Codebase available via GitHub transfer Current issue (URGENT) Orders are syncing correctly into EWE. However: Shipping labels are NOT automatically generating in EWE. EWE can see incoming orders but cannot print the labels required for pick/pack. This has been occurring for approximately one week. As a workaround, Amazon has been manually sending us labels, which is causing operational issues and frustration on Amazon’s side. Technical feedback from our 3PL (EWE) EWE investigation indicates the issue may relate to the response returned by the label endpoint. They advised: “The working examples we tested point directly to a PDF file. However, the URL provided in the payload appears to be an application endpoint rather than a direct PDF resource.” Example endpoint: https://amazon-ewe-integration.onrender.com/labels/DYszXRySC Potential issue appears to involve: PDF file handling Response headers / content type Direct file serving URL / endpoint behaviour Authentication / redirects / binary response handling What we need Primary urgent scope: Review existing GitHub codebase. Diagnose and resolve label generation issue. Ensure EWE can successfully retrieve and print labels automatically. Test end-to-end flow with Amazon + EWE. Provide brief documentation / handover notes. Nice to have (NOT urgent) After the API is stabilised: Automate invoice submission back to Amazon for Direct Fulfillment orders. Required experience Strong preference for developers with experience in: Amazon SP-API / Direct Fulfillment APIs REST API integrations Backend development (Node / Python / similar) PDF / file serving / binary responses Logistics / 3PL integrations GitHub workflow Production troubleshooting Timing This is high priority / urgent.
