Rozpočet: $30.0 FIXED / ⭐ 5.00 (29) United Kingdom

elementor, wordpress, php, google-analytics

We have a website where the tracking for conversion is being stripped once an elementor button is clicked. We need all the quote buttons on the site to have the tracking. This is the info from the marketing company: Very top line currently tracking is breaking when users move to the quote journey due to lost consent and stripped tracking parameters in the redirect. The key fix is to ensure the redirect preserves the full URL (including tracking parameters), alongside aligning consent and cross-domain tracking. To give a bit more detail: Session tracking is breaking between sites When users move from the main site to the quote site, they are being treated as a new visitor. This means their journey is split, rather than tracked as one continuous session. Consent isn’t being carried across Each site is using a different cookie consent setup, and they aren’t sharing consent signals. As a result, tracking can’t persist properly between the two sites, which contributes to the session breaking. Traffic source data is being lost When users click through, important tracking information (e.g. campaign data from Google Ads or GA4) is added to the URL. However, this is being removed during the redirect, so: We can’t see where users originally came from Conversions are incorrectly attributed (often showing as “Direct”) Campaign performance appears weaker than it actually is What is needed: Preserve tracking parameters during the redirect When users move from the main site to the quote site, the redirect must keep the full URL intact, including everything after the “?” (query string). This ensures important tracking parameters (like campaign IDs and GA4 linking data) are passed through correctly. Align consent management across both sites Either use the same consent platform or ensure consent signals are shared This allows tracking to persist consistently between domains Review cross-domain tracking setup Ensure GA4 is correctly linking the two domains so sessions are stitched together Chat with us for the site link
