WordPress Expert

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Expert to support a client project involving cookie consent compliance, Google Analytics tracking configuration, and WordPress plugin auditing. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with privacy compliance plugins (particularly Complianz), Google Consent Mode v2, and WordPress site health optimization. Key Responsibilities 1. Analytics Consent & Compliance Audit and configure GA4 tracking to ensure it fires only after user consent is granted via the Complianz banner Identify the source of GA4 injection (Google Site Kit, Google Tag Manager, theme code, or custom scripts) Implement and verify Google Consent Mode v2 (gtag consent default/update configuration) Ensure Complianz Consent Mode integration is correctly mapped to GA4/Google Site Kit Test consent behavior in Incognito mode using Chrome DevTools (Network tab) to confirm no pre-consent data transmission 2. Complianz Plugin Configuration Review and properly configure the Complianz Privacy Suite plugin settings Map service categories (Statistics, Marketing, etc.) to corresponding tracking tools Ensure the consent banner is functioning as intended and blocking analytics until accepted Generate and maintain required privacy documentation (Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy) 3. WordPress Plugin Auditing Review third-party plugins (e.g., Engagifii Module) for PHP session handling issues Check for improper use of session_start() and missing session_write_close() calls Identify potential conflicts between plugins causing REST API errors or Site Health warnings Provide a written report on findings and recommended fixes 4. WordPress Site Health Optimization Diagnose and resolve active WordPress Site Health issues Address server response time / page cache performance issues Document all resolved and pending Site Health items
