Employee Services Portal

## Project Overview We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build the first phase of a modern, enterprise-grade Employee Services Portal that integrates with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). This project is **NOT** a redesign of Dynamics. The goal is to build a branded web portal that securely connects to our existing Dynamics 365 F&O environment. The portal will initially provide employee self-service functions and will later evolve into a complete employee digital workplace. The application must be designed with future expansion in mind, including a mobile application. --- ## Technology Stack The project must use the following technologies: ### Frontend * React * TypeScript * Vite * Material UI (preferred) * Responsive design (desktop, tablet, mobile) ### Backend * Node.js * Express.js * TypeScript * REST API architecture ### Microsoft Technologies * Microsoft Entra ID authentication (Azure AD) * Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations * OData integration * JSON Custom Services (if required) * Azure Static Web Apps * Azure App Service * Azure Key Vault * Application Insights --- ## Phase 1 Scope The initial deliverables include only the following modules. ### Employee Dashboard * Employee profile * Welcome page * Current leave balances * Recent leave requests * Current request status * Quick actions ### Leave Management * View leave balances * Submit leave request * View leave request history * View request status * Cancel request (if permitted) ### Authentication * Microsoft Entra ID Single Sign-On * Secure session handling * Role-based authorization --- ## Architecture Requirements The solution must follow this architecture: React Frontend ↓ Node.js REST API ↓ Dynamics 365 F&O The frontend must NEVER communicate directly with Dynamics. The backend API will be responsible for: * Authentication * Authorization * Dynamics integration * Business logic * Error handling * Logging --- ## UI Requirements We are looking for a clean enterprise interface similar in quality to Microsoft 365 applications. Requirements include: * Modern dashboard * Responsive layout * Corporate branding * Arabic-ready (RTL support) * English support * Accessible design * Professional animations (subtle only) --- ## Code Quality The project must include: * Clean architecture * Modular code * Strong TypeScript typing * Proper folder structure * Reusable components * Error handling * Input validation * API versioning * Environment configuration * Documentation --- ## Security The developer must have experience with: * Microsoft Entra authentication * JWT * OAuth 2.0 * Secure API design * Azure Key Vault * OWASP best practices --- ## Deliverables The completed project must include: * Complete source code * React frontend * Node.js backend * Documentation * Installation guide * Deployment guide * API documentation * README * Environment configuration instructions All source code will become our property. --- ## Required Experience Please apply only if you have experience with: * React * Node.js * TypeScript * Azure * Microsoft Entra ID * Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations * OData * REST APIs Experience integrating with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O is mandatory. --- ## Nice to Have Experience with: * Azure DevOps * GitHub Actions * Azure Static Web Apps * Azure App Service * Power Platform * Enterprise HR portals --- ## Proposal Requirements Please include the following in your proposal: 1.
