Data Research & Web Data Extraction Specialist Needed

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Data Research & Data Extraction Specialist to support an ongoing data collection project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering accurate business information from company websites and publicly available online sources, then organizing and maintaining the data in structured Excel or Google Sheets. Responsibilities • Research company information from websites, directories, and other publicly available sources • Collect and compile data accurately into Excel or Google Sheets • Use automated data extraction techniques and tools where appropriate and in compliance with website terms and policies (e.g., APIs and approved extraction methods) • Verify data quality, completeness, and accuracy • Organize large datasets in a structured and user-friendly format • Follow project guidelines and meet deadlines consistently • Communicate progress and report any data inconsistencies Requirements • Proven experience in web research, data collection, and data extraction • Proficiency with Python or similar tools - BeautifulSoup - Scrapy - Selenium - Playwright (preferred) • Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills • Ability to work independently and manage large datasets • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Strong internet research and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with large-scale lead generation or company database projects • Knowledge of data cleaning and validation techniques • Familiarity with APIs and automated data extraction methods • Previous freelancing platform experience with positive client feedback To Apply 1.
