Responsibilities • Building and managing WordPress sites with a strong focus on frontend/UI implementation • Converting Figma designs into fully responsive pages using Elementor/Divi • Writing HTML / CSS / JavaScript / PHP as needed for custom sections and functionality • Implementing and optimizing responsive UI/UX across devices and breakpoints • Setting up and configuring GTM and GA4 tracking within WordPress • Implementing on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, schema, page speed, image optimization, etc.) • Designing and documenting new features / improvements • Setting up and running a development environment • Monitoring work queue in a Jira ticket system • Communicating with other team members about active projects • Troubleshooting defects • Developing and executing maintenance plans Requirements • Should be available at least until 1 PM US Central time • Strong hands-on experience with Figma-to-Elementor / Figma-to-Divi workflows • Proven experience building responsive, mobile-first UI/UX in WordPress • Solid on-page SEO experience (technical + content-level optimization) • Experience with GTM and GA4 setup/integration within WordPress • Strong knowledge of HTML / CSS / JavaScript • Working knowledge of PHP • Experience with jQuery/React/Angular (a plus) • Experience with REST APIs • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to multitask • Security conscious Nice to Have • Implementation of tracking scripts and pixels beyond GTM/GA4 • Experience with advanced technical SEO (Core Web Vitals, structured data, crawl optimization) • Basic design sensibility / familiarity with Figma component libraries Experience • WordPress Frontend Development: 5+ years • Figma-to-Elementor/Divi implementation: 3+ years • On-page SEO: 3+ years • JavaScript/jQuery/React/Angular: 3+ years • PHP: 3+ years
