We are looking for a React Native developer to build an MVP mobile application focused on demonstrating the cryptographic side of a secure messaging workflow.
This is not a full chat product. The MVP will run locally and is intended to validate the core encryption, signing, decryption, and verification experience before adding features such as real-time messaging, accounts, backend infrastructure, or cloud storage.
MVP Goal
Build a simple mobile app where one demo user can send a protected message to another demo user. The recipient should be able to decrypt the message and verify that it has not been modified.
The app should make the security process visible and easy to understand through the interface.
Core MVP Features
Compose a message from one demo user to another.
Secure the message before it appears in the recipient’s inbox.
Encrypt the message using a symmetric session key.
Protect the session key using asymmetric encryption.
Generate and verify a message signature.
Verify the integrity of the decrypted message.
Display a local inbox containing encrypted message packages.
Allow the recipient to decrypt and verify a message.
Show clear verification states:
Message valid
Message altered
Invalid signature
Include a tampering simulation that modifies an encrypted package and demonstrates detection.
Add a lightweight “Demo” section showing the main cryptographic values and steps used during the process.

Real-time communication
Backend or API development
Authentication and user accounts
Push notifications
Database or cloud storage
Production-level encryption infrastructure
These features may be considered in a later phase after the cryptographic workflow and user experience are validated.

Clear comments around critical cryptographic workflow logic

Design Direction
The design should feel modern, minimal, and security-focused:
Light neutral background
Indigo or deep-blue primary accent
Clean cards and generous spacing
Green success states
Orange or red warning states
Clear use of icons for locks, keys, messages, signatures, and verification
Technical details should be available but not overwhelm the main user flow

Functional local message security flow
Encryption, decryption, signature, and verification states
Tampering demonstration flow
Basic tests
README with installation and usage instructions
Screenshots or short walkthrough of the completed MVP
