WordPress Developer for Ongoing Multi-Site Maintenance (Agency) - Monthly Hourly Position Job Overview I run a digital marketing agency managing websites for approximately 30 small business clients. All sites are WordPress, hosted on a VPS server. I am looking for a reliable WordPress developer to handle ongoing maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting across all sites on a monthly retainer basis. Ongoing Scope Regular plugin, theme, and WordPress core updates. Proactive monitoring for downtime or errors across multiple sites. Security hardening including removing unused plugins and applying available patches. PHP version management as themes and plugins are confirmed compatible. Troubleshooting and resolving site errors as they come up. Coordination with the hosting provider when server-side issues arise. Ideal Candidate Strong WordPress and PHP experience. Familiar with VPS and cPanel hosting environments. Able to work independently and communicate clearly with a non-technical point of contact. Experience managing multiple client sites simultaneously. Bonus if you have worked in a white-label or agency setting before. Details Sites are primarily low-traffic small business service websites. You will coordinate directly with me and I will relay to the hosting provider as needed. Looking for someone dependable for a long-term working relationship.
