Kiro AI Platform Specialist role

1. This is a platform owner role - The specialist configures and governs the Kiro environment that 15+ squads build on. 1. Design and implement the three-tier Kiro workspace hierarchy (organisation, squad, role) across all 15+ squads. 2. Define, configure, and document agent definitions for each role in the SDLC: BA/PO, UX Designer, Architect/Tech Lead, Frontend Developer, Backend Developer, QA Engineer, DevOps Engineer 3. Create and maintain the organisation-wide and squad-specific template library within Kiro: requirements.md, design.md, task.md, bug.md, and API documentation templates, ensuring they auto-populate via the AI Assistant in context 2. Prompt engineering at production scale is the core technical skill. They author the canonical prompt library used by every squad across every SDLC phase. Prompts must be domain-specific, auditable, and stable enough that squads can depend on consistent output , not exploratory or personal productivity prompts. 3. Toolchain Integration. Integrate Kiro with the full programme toolchain: GitLab (source control, CI/CD pipeline triggers), Jira (story-to-artifact traceability), Figma (design extract for gap analysis), Docker, Helm, Terraform, and AWS for environment deployment 4. AI Governance Implementaiton. Configuring the platform so that no AI-generated artifact can cross a gate without a recorded human approval — not just as policy on paper, but as an enforced workflow , is a primary deliverable.
