I am looking for a quick-turnaround Web Developer or DevOps freelancer to resolve a deployment issue on my traditional shared hosting platform. I have exported a full-stack React application from Lovable.dev, but the frontend production files are throwing a 404 Not Found console error when trying to fetch the main compiled JavaScript bundle (index-[hash].js), resulting in a blank screen.
The site title renders perfectly in the browser tab, meaning the index.html file is loading, but the static assets are failing to map or load properly.
Current Project Setup & Status:
Source: The full-stack project was generated via Lovable.dev and downloaded locally as a ZIP file.
Build State: I ran npm install and npm run build using Windows PowerShell on my workstation.
File Structure Output: The build process generated a dist/ directory split into a server folder and a client folder.
Current Hosting State: Inside the client folder, Vite compiled flat assets (index-[hash].js, routes-[hash].js, and styles-[hash].css). I manually created a standard matching index.html file to map them. These four assets are uploaded directly into the root folder (public_html) of my hosting File Manager.
The Error: The server returns a strict 404 Not Found specifically on the .js asset.
Tasks Include:
Audit the current file structure and configuration inside the hosting File Manager.
Configure the correct routing mechanics (e.g., creating/fixing a .htaccess rewrite rule for React Single Page Application routing) or adjusting the Vite base paths if a rebuild is necessary.
Resolve any relative path or MIME-type assignment issues preventing the browser from loading the production JS/CSS modules.
Ensure the portfolio application renders fully operational on the live domain.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Vite, React, and SPA deployment workflows.
Solid understanding of traditional shared hosting environments (cPanel/DreamHost File Managers).
Experience writing Apache routing configurations (.htaccess files).
Quick troubleshooting and debugging skills via Browser Developer Tools.
