We operate Yoocal.com, a local events discovery platform. We are looking for a developer to help improve our event aggregation and discovery systems. Responsibilities include: Building and maintaining event scrapers Integrating APIs and third-party event sources Deduplicating and normalizing event data Improving search and event recommendations Website improvements and feature development Automation and backend engineering Required skills: Python Web scraping APIs Databases Full stack web development Automation Preferred: Experience with marketplaces Experience with event aggregation Experience with AI or recommendation engines
