Senior Developer PHP

Overview We are seeking a Senior Developer with specific, proven experience integrating financial trading platforms and broker APIs, including Tradovate and similar trading infrastructures, who is highly proficient in PHP. Our current platform is built on PHP, making fluency in this language necessary to work within the existing system. The goal is to establish seamless, secure, and lightning fast broker integrations while applying best engineering practices to maximize execution speed, minimize latency, and provide a native user experience without redirecting users to external websites or requiring migration or rebuilding of our foundational platform. A comprehensive video walkthrough and detailed technical requirements are ready to share with qualified candidates during the interview phase. Core Objectives 1) Broker API Integration: Build rock solid, reliable integrations with Tradovate and other broker APIs to support automated order execution (market, limit, and stop orders), account synchronization, position management, and automated session and token management. 2) Webhook and Signal Processing: Ensure our system can receive alerts from external platforms such as TradingView Pine Script webhooks and route them for trade execution instantly with minimal latency, no dropped signals, and maximum reliability. 3) Dashboard Performance and Native User Experience: Connect trading data back to our user interface so users receive real time updates on positions, orders, balances, and account activity through a fast, responsive native experience without being redirected to external broker websites at any point in the workflow. 4) Speed and Reliability Optimization: Design and optimize the integration architecture to minimize execution delays, reduce API response latency, maximize connection reliability, and ensure a seamless trading experience for end users. Required Qualifications 1) Strong PHP Proficiency: Because our platform is built on PHP, comfort reading, optimizing, and building within it from day one is required. 2) Trading API Experience: Direct, hands on experience connecting to and managing financial trading APIs, ideally Tradovate or similar futures, forex, equities, or crypto broker and exchange protocols, is required. 3) Handling Live Data Streams: Experience setting up systems that process fast, automated data feeds, streaming market data, or webhooks without bottlenecking the server. 4) Broker Integration UX Experience: Experience designing and implementing broker integrations that provide a seamless native platform experience, including account connectivity, trading workflows, and user interactions without redirecting users to third party platforms.
