Lafayette Academy is a tutoring and test‑prep center with a long‑established WordPress site that needs an experienced, reliable professional to manage, maintain, and improve it. We use a modern WordPress stack with Divi and a large ecosystem of plugins. I’m looking for someone who can confidently handle performance, security, SEO, updates, troubleshooting, and light development—without needing hand‑holding. Your Responsibilities Ongoing management of LafayetteAcademy.com Update WordPress core, themes, and plugins safely Optimize site speed, caching, and performance Maintain security and monitoring Improve SEO structure, metadata, and rankings Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, layout issues, and backend errors Suggest improvements proactively Keep the site stable, fast, and clean Required Expertise You must be highly comfortable with: WordPress (deep experience) Divi (page builder, theme structure, responsive editing) WP Rocket (caching, optimization, CDN settings) Wordfence (security, firewall tuning, malware scanning) WP Engine (hosting environment, staging, backups) Rank Math SEO (schema, metadata, sitemaps, analytics) Imagify (image compression, WebP, optimization workflows) And general plugin ecosystem management (we use many) Nice-to-Have Skills Ability to streamline plugin load Experience improving Core Web Vitals Light PHP / CSS / JS for small fixes Understanding of educational service websites What I’m Looking For Someone who works independently Communicates clearly and simply Doesn’t create complexity Can take ownership of the site’s health Long-term relationship preferred To Apply Please send: A short intro Examples of WordPress sites you manage Confirmation that you’ve worked with Divi + the plugins listed Your hourly rate or monthly maintenance rate
