AI Automation & Growth Systems Engineer

We’re a performance marketing agency looking for a highly technical automation/systems engineer to help us build internal AI-powered operational tools for our paid media team. This is NOT a generic AI chatbot role. We’re looking for someone who can help architect systems that connect: Meta Ads API Google Ads API Shopify Slack AI models (OpenAI / Claude / Gemini) internal dashboards/tools The goal is to automate repetitive operational workflows and build intelligent internal tools for media buying, creative analysis, reporting, and decision-making. Examples of projects: Daily AI-generated account diagnostics delivered to Slack Meta/Google performance analysis agents Creative fatigue detection systems Hook/concept clustering Automated scaling & pausing recommendations AI-assisted reporting workflows Internal dashboards for creative and media buying teams Creative diversity scoring systems Workflow automations across client accounts We are NOT looking for: basic Zapier-only freelancers prompt engineers without systems experience generic “AI agency” teams frontend-only developers We ARE looking for someone with strong experience in: Python APIs (Meta, Google, Shopify preferred) Automation frameworks LLM integrations (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) Databases / data pipelines Slack integrations Agent workflows Backend/system architecture Bonus if you have experience with: LangChain / LangGraph Supabase Retool n8n BigQuery Data visualization Adtech / ecommerce / performance marketing Creative analysis systems Important: We care much more about practical systems thinking than flashy AI buzzwords.
