Senior Supabase Authentication & Customer Portal Developer

We are looking for a highly experienced Supabase developer to audit, troubleshoot, and optimize our production customer portal and membership platform. This is not a project for a general web developer. We are specifically seeking someone with deep experience in Supabase authentication, database management, Row Level Security (RLS), email automation, SMTP configuration, and customer/member access control. Our goal is to ensure that all customer-facing systems are stable, secure, properly branded, and functioning flawlessly. --- ## Scope of Work ### Authentication & User Management * Audit existing Supabase Auth configuration * Fix user signup and registration flows * Repair password reset functionality * Verify login/logout functionality * Troubleshoot email verification workflows * Ensure customer onboarding works correctly ### Customer Portal & Member Access * Review customer and member permissions * Audit user roles and access levels * Verify protected pages and member-only content * Fix access issues and permission conflicts * Review and optimize Row Level Security (RLS) policies ### Email Configuration & Branding * Configure SMTP provider (Resend, SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark, etc.) * Verify email deliverability * Configure branded email templates * Improve signup, verification, and password reset emails * Ensure all emails match company branding ### Database Review * Audit database structure * Review table relationships * Identify performance bottlenecks * Verify security settings * Recommend best practices and improvements ### Testing & Documentation * Perform end-to-end testing * Test customer signup process * Test password recovery process * Test member access workflows * Provide documentation of all changes made --- ## Required Skills * Supabase * PostgreSQL * Authentication Systems * Row Level Security (RLS) * SMTP & Transactional Email Services * Next.js / React Applications * API Integrations * User Role Management * SaaS Membership Platforms --- ## Deliverables By project completion we expect: ✅ Working customer signup process ✅ Working login system ✅ Working password reset functionality ✅ Branded transactional emails ✅ Proper user permissions and access controls ✅ Verified member portal functionality ✅ Documentation of fixes and recommendations --- ## To Apply Please answer the following: 1.
