WordPress & AWS Lightsail Backup Expert

WordPress / AWS Lightsail Expert Needed to Fix Backup Failures & Plugin Update Issues Job Description We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer / DevOps engineer to investigate and resolve two critical issues on our Bitnami WordPress Multisite environment hosted on AWS Lightsail. Recently, our automated backups began failing, and our core backup plugin failed a recent update. We need a professional to troubleshoot the root cause (likely related to disk space, file permissions, or server timeouts) and ensure the site is stable, updating correctly, and properly backed up. Key Issues to Resolve: BackWPup Failure: Our backup jobs are being aborted. The log outputs the following error right after trying to create the archive: ERROR: Cannot write progress to working file. Job will be aborted. Plugin Update Failures: WordPress is failing to automatically or manually update plugins (specifically BackWPup failed to update from 5.6.9 to 5.6.10 with a generic failure notification). Scope of Work: Investigate AWS Lightsail server metrics (Disk space utilization, Inode limits, RAM usage). Check and correct file/folder permissions and ownership specific to the Bitnami WordPress structure (/opt/bitnami/wordpress/). Review PHP/Apache/Nginx error logs to find the exact bottleneck causing the backup working-file write error. Successfully update the failing plugins. Run a successful test backup and verify the archive integrity. Required Skills & Experience: Strong expertise with AWS Lightsail and Bitnami WordPress / WordPress Multisite stacks. Deep understanding of Linux server administration (SSH, file permissions, disk management). Experience with WordPress backup plugins, specifically BackWPup. Troubleshooting PHP environments, memory limits, and execution timeouts.
