Senior SaaS Architect (Fractional) — Multi-Tenant Healthcare Platform: Review & Advisory

Description: We're a profitable healthcare software company taking a new, already-validated product from working prototype to production. It automates a complex clinical document workflow using LLMs. The hard parts — the domain logic and full HIPAA/BAA/vendor compliance — are already done. What we're hardening now is the production architecture: multi-tenancy, a background-job worker fleet for long-running jobs, durable state, and scale to ~1,000 users. We're looking for a senior architect to review and advise — not to build it for us. You'll be our fractional technical conscience: review our architecture and code (tenant isolation, job orchestration, data layer), catch the landmines before they ship, and tell us straight whether this holds at scale. High-trust, high-judgment role for someone who has actually owned a production multi-tenant SaaS — ideally in healthcare/PHI. Stack: Python, Flask/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Celery/Redis, S3, AWS/GCP (open to your opinions on all of it). You are: 8+ years backend; personally architected and operated a production multi-tenant SaaS; deep on tenant isolation, queue/job design, Postgres, and scaling long-running workloads; healthcare/HIPAA experience strongly preferred; will disagree with us when we're wrong. Engagement: Part-time / fractional, ongoing — ~5–10 hrs/week of review + advisory calls. Hourly. We pay top rates for real seniority. This is not a build-everything contract. To apply — no templates.
