Web Developer (GitHub/Prismic) – Social Impact Project (#IAmRemarkable)

About the Role: We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Website Maintenance and Updates professional to work with us on a project/ ad hoc basis. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our website remains up-to-date, secure, and performs optimally. Key Responsibilities: Website Updates: Implement regular updates, including content changes, design modifications, and feature additions. Maintenance: Monitor website performance, identify and resolve issues promptly, and ensure optimal functionality. Version Control: Utilize GitHub to manage website code, track changes, and collaborate effectively. Deployment: Deploy website updates and changes using tools like Vercel. CMS Management: Manage and update content within our Content Management System (Prismic). Security: Implement security measures to protect the website from vulnerabilities and attacks. SEO Optimization: Contribute to SEO efforts by ensuring website content and structure are optimized for search engines. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in website maintenance and updates using Prismic. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development technologies. In-depth knowledge of Git and GitHub for version control. Experience with deployment, particularly Vercel. Familiarity with Content Management Systems, particularly Prismic. Understanding of SEO principles and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Familiar with React JS framework. Bonus Skills: Experience with additional web development frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue). Knowledge of server-side programming languages (e.g., PHP, Python).
