Senior Flutter & Python Django Developer

We’re looking for an experienced Flutter + Python Django developer to join our team and help improve an existing production-ready social media platform. The application is already live and actively used. We're looking for someone who can confidently work across both the Flutter mobile application and the Python Django backend, implementing new features, fixing production issues, and improving the overall user experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys working on complex social networking applications and is interested in a long-term collaboration. Responsibilities You'll work on a variety of enhancements, including: Implementing new Flutter features Fixing production bugs across Android and iOS Improving notification flows and deep linking Enhancing commenting and post interaction experience Improving search functionality (users, rooms, etc.) Profile and UI/UX improvements Backend API enhancements using Django Fixing notification and messaging logic Optimizing database queries and API performance Improving overall application stability and performance We're Looking For Someone Who Writes clean, maintainable, and scalable code Can quickly understand an existing codebase Has strong debugging and problem-solving skills Pays close attention to UI/UX details Communicates clearly and proactively Can suggest technical improvements, not just implement tasks When Applying, Please Include Your best Flutter applications Any Django/DRF projects you've built Examples of social media, chat, or community apps (if available) Your GitHub or portfolio (optional but appreciated) Your availability (hours/week) Your hourly rate Engagement Project Type: Feature Development & Bug Fixing Experience Level: Senior Duration: 1–3 months initially, with the potential for ongoing work Availability: 20–40 hours/week preferred A detailed task document will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
