Healthcare Software Developer with EHR/EMR & HIPAA Experience

We're looking for an experienced full-stack developer to help with a short-term project on our healthcare application. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with EHR and EMR systems and knows how to handle PHI securely and in full compliance with HIPAA. Tech stack: Frontend: Next.js (React, TypeScript) Backend: Python / FastAPI Other: REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Docker, and FHIR-based data exchange What you'll do: Integrate our platform with EHR/EMR systems, including EPIC Build and maintain data exchange using the FHIR standard Ensure all handling of PHI meets HIPAA requirements Troubleshoot and improve existing healthcare integrations What we're looking for: Proven experience with EHR and EMR systems Strong skills in Next.js and Python/FastAPI Familiarity with EPIC integrations Working knowledge of the FHIR standard Strong understanding of HIPAA and PHI security practices Good communication and quick availability If you know your way around EHR, EMR, EPIC, and FHIR and are comfortable with a Next.js + FastAPI stack, we'd love to hear from you.
