GLOBAL HEALTH SANCTUARY
Private Ministry Association
Website Development — Cover Letter
Dear Developer,
Thank you for considering this project. We are the Global Health Sanctuary Private Ministry Association — a private ministry dedicated to holistic health, natural wellness, spiritual restoration, and community wellbeing. We are looking for a capable web developer to build a simple, secure, and easy-to-manage website for the Ministry, and the attached brief sets out exactly what we need.
Before you read the brief, a few words on who we are and what matters to us, so you can judge whether this project suits you.
We are a private ministry, not a shop and not a commercial business. The website we need reflects that. It has a welcoming public face that explains who we are and how a person may apply to join, and a single private members area that approved members enter after a simple, deliberate, manual approval process. We are not asking for an online store, an automated checkout, a payments system, or a complex membership platform. We have had those before and found them heavy, costly to maintain, and — in one case — a security risk. We are deliberately choosing simplicity this time.
Three things matter most to us:
• Simplicity and low maintenance — the site must be easy for us to run day to day. We add the content and approve the members; the technology should stay quietly in the background.
• Security — a previous website was compromised through plugin vulnerabilities and a contact form. We want the smallest possible attack surface, no unnecessary plugins, strong backups, and nothing pirated or unlicensed.
• Ownership — every account, the domain, and all credentials must be in our name and under our control. We will never again be in a position where someone else holds the only keys.
The brief describes a clean two-part site: a public information front (home, about the Ministry, our approach, membership information, how to join, FAQ, a donation invitation, and chatbot-only contact), and a private members area reached only after a person downloads a paper application, signs it, returns it via the ability to upload and is manually approved by us. Inside the members area, our offerings are presented as information — described, not sold through a checkout — and a private Gift page shows our bank details to approved members only. On the public side, Gifts are invited warmly but no bank details are shown if that is possible, in saying that, because the Ministry is not registered it does not have a ABN or TFN.
We will provide all content, offering descriptions, the membership application and agreement. We are open to your recommendation on the simplest technical approach that meets the brief — please tell us what you would use and why, and we welcome your experience in keeping a site like this secure and easy to maintain.
We prefer milestone-based payments and a clean, prompt launch over a feature-heavy build. If this kind of calm, simple, well-built project appeals to you, we would be glad to hear how you would approach it, your proposed timeline, and your quote.
With thanks and good wishes,
mark-william
