WordPress Directory Developer Needed

I am looking for an experienced WordPress directory developer to improve the registration and listing process on my website: [www.healer-map.com](http://www.healer-map.com) Healer Map is an international directory for holistic practitioners. A previous developer added a separate directory section for stores, but the registration and submission process was not properly adapted. At present, practitioners can register and create listings, but businesses and stores cannot successfully register and add their own listings. The main task is to create a simple and reliable registration process that allows users to choose between: • I’m a Practitioner • I represent a Business or Shop The selected option should guide the user to the correct profile and listing submission process. Practitioners should continue to create practitioner listings, while businesses and shops should be able to create listings in the appropriate business directory category. I am open to recommendations about the best structure and wording. The current “Store” category may be renamed to “Business & Shop” so it can include physical stores, online shops, holistic businesses, wellness centres, training providers, and other relevant businesses. Main tasks: • Review the existing WordPress registration, login and listing submission process • Simplify the registration and login experience where possible • Add a clear choice between practitioner and business/shop registration • Connect each user type to the correct listing submission form and directory category • Ensure business owners can register, log in, create, edit and manage their own listings • Make sure the existing practitioner registration and listings continue to work correctly • Check that the process works properly on desktop, tablet and mobile • Test account creation, email verification, password reset, login, logout and listing submission • Check user roles and permissions so users can only access and edit their own information • Review the website for obvious security issues, outdated components, broken functionality or configuration problems • Confirm that forms include suitable spam protection and input validation • Check that updates or changes will not negatively affect existing listings or user accounts • Create a backup before making changes • Provide a short summary of the changes made and identify any additional issues that should be addressed The website currently uses WordPress with directory and user-management functionality, including GeoDirectory and UsersWP. Experience with these systems, or comparable WordPress directory platforms, is strongly preferred. Please do not replace plugins, redesign the website or make unrelated changes without discussing them with me first.
