WordPress GeoDirectory Setup

Budget: $14.0 - $20.0 HOURLY / PART_TIME ⭐ 4.98 (7) United States

wordpress, php, web-programming, cpanel

I’m looking for a WordPress developer with GeoDirectory experience to help set up a searchable location-based directory on my existing WordPress site. My site is hosted on WPX and uses Kadence Pro. I want this built on my WPX staging site first. The goal is to create a clean, mobile-friendly directory where visitors can search listings by location, city, state, radius, and key filters. This is not a marketplace build right now. I need the foundation set up correctly so I can grow it over time. Project needs: - Install and configure GeoDirectory on staging - Use Kadence Pro for page layout and design - do not change my current settings. - Create one main listing type - Use one main category - Set up location data for United States, states, and cities - Set up search by city, state, location, and radius - Start with OpenStreetMap - Set up custom fields and filters - Set up separate amenity-style fields - Create a main directory page - Create a clean individual listing page template - Create the state SEO pages, such as /directory/texas so when i import entries related to that state it displays - Keep individual listing URLs simple - Create a “Submit a Listing” form that sends listings for review - Make sure submissions do not auto-publish - Test CSV import with a few listings first - Make sure the setup works well on mobile - Provide a walkthrough so I can manage listings, fields, filters, and imports myself I already have a CSV started with listing data. I do not need AI features, a full marketplace, paid memberships, user dashboards, or ecommerce at this stage. I’m looking for someone who can keep this clean, simple, scalable, and explain what they are doing. Please include examples of GeoDirectory, directory, real estate, local business, travel, or map-based listing sites you have worked on. I am open to tweaking the project needs a bit, if needed.
