Senior Full Stack Engineer | Scalable SaaS Platform | API Reliability & System Optimization

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to work on Aimantis, a modern property management SaaS platform designed for hospitality operations, including bookings, guest management, invoicing, availability tracking, and check-in workflows. The platform is built using a Django + Django REST Framework backend and a React + TypeScript (Vite) frontend, deployed in a containerized Docker environment. We are looking for someone who can go beyond feature development and focus on system reliability, performance optimization, and production-grade engineering. Key Responsibilities • Improve API reliability, performance, and scalability in Django REST Framework • Enhance frontend responsiveness and UX performance using React + TypeScript • Strengthen automated testing (unit, integration, API tests) • Optimize database queries and PostgreSQL performance • Work on JWT authentication, role-based access, and API security • Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows • Debug and resolve production issues with a systematic approach • Collaborate on modular architecture and clean code practices Tech Stack (Core)Backend: • Python, Django, Django REST Framework • PostgreSQL, pgAdmin • JWT Authentication • OpenAPI / Swagger Documentation Frontend: • React + TypeScript (Vite) • Redux Toolkit, React Query • Material UI, Tailwind CSS DevOps / Infra: • Docker, Docker Compose • CI/CD pipelines • Git-based workflows Required Skills (Must-Have) • 4+ years experience with Django & DRF • Strong experience with React + TypeScript • Deep understanding of RESTful API design & optimization • Experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning • Hands-on with Docker-based development environments • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills • Experience working on production SaaS platforms Good to Have (Bonus Skills) • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures • Familiarity with AI/ML integrations (LLMs, automation workflows) • Knowledge of event-driven systems / queues (Celery, Redis) • Experience with WebSockets / real-time systems • Exposure to observability tools (logs, metrics, tracing) • Experience in hospitality / booking systems domain Current Focus Areas • API stability and error handling improvements • Test coverage enhancement • Frontend performance optimization • Deployment and DevOps workflow optimization • Long-term scalability and maintainability What We’re Looking For • Engineer who thinks in systems, not just features • Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and suggest improvements • Experience handling real-world production challenges Engagement Details • Project Type: Ongoing / Long-term • Experience Level: Senior • Availability: 30–40 hrs/week preferred • Start: Immediate
