## About us
itemdrop builds the digital cloakroom management software for events — payment, token assignment, and cloakroom management on POS devices and web dashboards. Our software runs live at events with thousands of transactions per night. We are a small, fast-moving, AI-first team, and you'll work directly with the people who build and run the product.
## Your mission
1. **Unify our two Angular web frontends** — migrate them into one monorepo with a shared base, and turn duplicated code into reusable, maintainable components
2. **Optimize the integration of our internal REST API** across both frontends
3. **Keep the product healthy** — maintenance, performance improvements, and bugfixing
4. **Migrate step by step from Angular Material to Tailwind CSS** (or a comparable modern framework) without breaking the UI
5. **Introduce state handling** where it makes the apps simpler and faster
6. **Modernize dependencies and run Angular upgrades**
7. **Grow unit tests, code coverage, and documentation** as a continuous part of your work
## Your profile
- You master Angular, TypeScript, HTML, SCSS, and frameworks like Tailwind
- You have hands-on experience with AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, pi.dev, Cursor), keep learning actively, and know what LLMs and AI agents are good at — and where their limits are
- You write clean, readable code and test your own work
- You know what good pull requests and good code reviews look like
- You know UI/UX principles and how to apply them, and you're confident with common debugging tools
- You communicate openly, take real ownership of the frontend, and improve the system proactively
- Excellent English communication skills
## Why itemdrop
- Real architectural ownership: you shape the target structure of our entire web frontend, not just tickets
- Direct impact: your work goes live at events with thousands of transactions — feedback in days, not quarters
- AI-first way of working with a small, fast team and short feedback loops
- Long-term engagement with reliable, milestone-based payouts
## Tech stack
Angular 21 (TypeScript, SCSS, Vitest), Angular Material (legacy), Tailwind CSS, echarts, Material icons, Sentry, REST APIs, Git & GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Claude Code
