AWS/DevOps Expert: SuiteCRM Migration & AWS Server Setup (v7.10.35 to Latest v7.x)

We are looking for an experienced AWS Systems Administrator and SuiteCRM specialist to migrate our existing SuiteCRM instance from an older self-managed setup to a clean, optimized, modern AWS environment. We are currently running SuiteCRM Version 7.10.35. We want to migrate our data and upgrade the system to the latest/final stable release of Version 7 (e.g., v7.14 or v7.15) to ensure PHP 8.x compatibility, modern security patches, and OAuth2 support. Note: We are explicitly staying within the v7 architecture for this phase to preserve our current layouts and minimize downtime. Scope of Work Phase 1: AWS Environment Setup Provision a standard, optimized Linux EC2 instance on AWS tailored for SuiteCRM. Configure a secure LAMP/LEMP stack running a modern version of PHP compatible with the target SuiteCRM version (PHP 8.x). Install and configure an SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt or AWS ACM). Ensure basic automated backup snapshots are configured. Phase 2: Staging Migration & Testing Take a full backup of our current 7.10.35 database and public/uploads directory. Deploy the data to a staging environment on the new server. Run the necessary SuiteCRM upgrade scripts to bring the database schema up to the latest v7 version. Audit and troubleshoot any standard custom fields, basic logic hooks, or workflows to ensure they run smoothly on PHP 8.x. Phase 3: Production Go-Live Conduct a final data sync during a scheduled low-traffic window to ensure no data loss. Update DNS settings to point to the new production server. Provide 48 hours of post-launch hypercare to ensure emails (SMTP/IMAP) and global search are functioning perfectly. Required Skills Expert-level knowledge of AWS (EC2, EBS snapshots, security groups, basic networking). Deep experience with SuiteCRM / SugarCRM architecture, database schemas, and upgrade paths. Strong backend skills in PHP 8.x and MySQL/MariaDB. Experience configuring Linux server environments (Ubuntu/Debian preferred).
