We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to design, build and deploy machine learning models focused on prediction, classification, anomaly detection and pattern recognition. This is a hands-on, model-development-focused role. You will work closely with our data engineering team and internal stakeholders to turn business problems into production-ready ML solutions.
Work Model:
Remote
Hourly contract
Long-term opportunity
CNPJ/PJ model preferred
What You'll Work On:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models for prediction, classification, clustering and anomaly detection
- Design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines, from feature engineering to model serving
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends and actionable insights
- Build and maintain model monitoring, retraining and performance tracking workflows
- Translate business problems (finance, commercial, laboratory, HR) into data science solutions
- Document model design decisions, evaluation metrics and deployment procedures
Requirements:
- 1 + years of experience in data science, machine learning or related roles
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or related fields
- Python: scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy — core ML development stack
- SQL : data extraction, feature engineering, exploratory analysis
- Solid understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, time-series forecasting and anomaly detection techniques
- Experience deploying models to production (APIs, batch scoring or embedded pipelines)
- Familiarity with experiment tracking and model versioning (MLflow, Weights & Biases or similar)
- Git: version control, code review workflows
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Spark / PySpark for large-scale feature engineering
Microsoft Fabric or Databricks for ML workflows
- NLP or computer vision experience
Azure ML or cloud-based ML platforms
Language Requirements:
- Portuguese: Required
- English: Required
Intermediate conversational level in both. You do not need perfect fluency, but you should be able to communicate professionally.
Ideal Candidate:
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow as a specialist in applied machine learning — building models that solve real business problems, not just prototypes. We value hands-on experience, clear documentation and the ability to work independently from problem framing to deployment.
