Full-Stack Web Developer — Backend, Hosting & Light Front-End Updates

Overview We're looking for a reliable, responsive full-stack developer to take ownership of our website on an ongoing basis. The site is already built — we're not starting from scratch. We need someone who can manage the backend infrastructure and make light front-end updates quickly and cleanly. This is an ongoing role. Responsiveness and reliability are non-negotiable. If it takes you 48 hours to reply to a simple message, this isn't the right fit. What You'll Be Doing Backend / Infrastructure: Domain configuration and DNS management Web hosting setup, migration, and ongoing management Server-side file uploads and asset management SSL certificates, redirects, performance basics Deploying and maintaining HTML/static sites or CMS-based sites Light Front-End: Making content updates and copy edits to existing pages Adjusting animations, layouts, and styling (not designing from scratch) Ensuring the site looks clean and accurate — removing outdated or incorrect content when flagged Basic cross-browser/mobile checks after updates You're a Good Fit If: You have hands-on experience with web hosting environments (cPanel, WHM, Cloudflare, or similar) You can handle both the backend and make visual tweaks without needing a separate designer for every small change You're proactive about flagging issues before they become problems You respond within a few hours during business hours You can work independently without hand-holding You're NOT a Good Fit If: You only do front-end design with no server/hosting experience You need a project manager to break down every task Your turnaround on small tasks is measured in days Engagement Type: Ongoing / Part-time Hours: Flexible, task-based — likely 5–15 hrs/week to start Rate: Open to proposals — please include your hourly rate and a brief note on your hosting/backend experience To Apply, Please Include: A brief description of hosting environments you've managed At least one example of a site you've maintained (backend + front-end) Your typical response time during active contracts
