Part-Time Developer for Support & Maintenance (NestJS + React + Azure) 🏢 About the Projects We are two software engineers based in Denmark working with a UK client. We are developing and maintaining two interconnected systems: Internal Process Management System built on top of Sage ERP, helping the client manage and automate internal workflows. (Already in operation.) Heating Usage Monitoring Platform – a new system for customers to track and manage heating and energy usage across multiple UK properties. (Currently in development, launching May 2026.) Both systems share the same modern tech stack: Frontend: React Backend: NestJS (TypeScript) Infrastructure: Azure (App Services, GitHub Actions CI/CD) 🎯 The Role We’re looking for a reliable part-time developer to act as first-line support and maintenance for these two systems once they are live. We plan to bring you on board around March 2026 so that you can: Familiarize yourself with the systems and architecture Help with small development or configuration tasks Get comfortable with the CI/CD, logging, and monitoring setup Once the second system launches in May 2026, your primary role will be ongoing support, monitoring, and light development. Typical responsibilities: Monitor chat, logs, and alerts for issues Investigate and fix minor bugs Restart or redeploy services when needed Improve monitoring and observability Collaborate asynchronously with our small dev team (Slack/Teams) Expected workload: ~10 hours/week of active work Available and responsive (within 1–2 hours) during 08:00–16:00 UK time 🧠 Requirements Strong experience with NestJS and React Proficient in TypeScript Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with Azure App Services and cloud deployments Solid troubleshooting skills and reliable communication Bonus: experience with Sage ERP or other ERP-integrated systems 💰 Compensation 2000 USD /month (can be negotiated) Covers availability during UK hours and up to ~10 hours/week of maintenance or light development Paid monthly Opportunity to transition into a full-time role if further development projects begin after launch 🚀 Nice to Have Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Sentry, etc.) Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates) Previous experience in production support or SaaS environments 📅 How to Apply Please include: A short introduction and your timezone Your experience with NestJS and React Examples of production systems you’ve maintained or supported Your typical approach to handling incidents or urgent fixes
