Senior Python Engineer – Image Processing Pipeline for E-commerce Automation

We are building an automated image production system for e-commerce product visuals and are looking for a senior Python engineer with strong experience in image processing and automation. This is not a simple script task — we need a robust, scalable pipeline. ⸻ 🎯 Project scope We have a large set of product images (already isolated on transparent background). The system must: * Automatically composite products onto multiple backgrounds * Maintain consistent scaling rules across all outputs * Generate realistic shadows and visual consistency * Handle high-volume batch processing efficiently * Output structured, production-ready image libraries ⸻ ⚙️ Technical requirements * Strong Python experience (must be senior level) * OpenCV / Pillow expertise * Experience building image processing pipelines * Batch automation / performance optimization * Clean, maintainable architecture ⸻ 📦 Output target The system must reliably generate 50+ finished images per day, scalable to much higher volumes. Long-term goal: fully automated image production pipeline for thousands of assets
