UI Specialist / Front-End Developer with 3D animation experience (Part-Time | 30 hrs/week) – Marketing Agency About the Role We're a South Florida-based creative marketing agency actively building and maintaining multiple client-facing web products. We're looking for a talented, detail-obsessed Front-End Developer with a strong eye for UI and hands-on experience with 3D animation to join our team for one-month contract with the potential for long-term work. You'll work closely with our lead US-based developer who will provide direction, code reviews, and daily context. This is a collaborative role, communication and responsiveness matter as much as code quality. What You'll Be Working On You'll contribute across several active projects simultaneously, including an agency website, a law firm website, and a retreat center web presence. Required Skills •Next.js (App Router preferred) — building and maintaining modern, performant web applications •TypeScript — you write it confidently, not just tolerate it •Tailwind CSS — consistent, scalable utility-first styling •UI/UX sensibility — a strong eye for layout, spacing, typography, and interaction design •3D Animation & WebGL — hands-on experience with Three.js, React Three Fiber, or similar libraries •CSS Animations & Motion Design — Framer Motion or equivalent; transitions, micro-interactions, and scroll-based effects •Responsive Design — pixel-perfect execution across devices and breakpoints •Performance Optimization — lazy loading, Core Web Vitals awareness, image optimization •Git / GitHub — clean commits, PRs, and branch hygiene •Vercel — deploy and diagnose with confidence Bonus Skills (Highly Preferred) •Payload CMS — experience building or working within Payload-powered projects will make you stand out significantly •Navigation loading patterns — page transitions, skeleton loaders, route-level suspense •i18n / multilingual site experience You're a Great Fit If You... •Have a portfolio that demonstrates both technical skill and visual craft — your work looks as good as it functions •Can take a Figma or written spec and run with it independently •Ask smart questions before diving in and raise blockers early •Write clean, readable, maintainable code •Are available for async communication and occasional real-time check-ins •Care about the details: spacing, edge cases, animations that feel intentional •Are comfortable contributing across multiple projects and brands simultaneously Engagement Details •Hours: ~30 hours/week •Rate: $10–$12/hour •Format: Fully remote, flexible schedule •Communication: Daily async updates + regular check-ins with lead developer To Apply Please include the following in your proposal: •2–3 examples of front-end projects you've worked on — GitHub links or live URLs strongly preferred, showcasing 3D animation or motion work •Your availability and typical working hours Additionally, include 2–3 windows of availability for a 20–30 minute introductory call.
