Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (DMCA & Content Protection)

About the Role We're building a platform that helps content creators detect, document, and remove unauthorized copies of their copyrighted material from the web and from Google Search results. We're looking for an experienced full-stack developer to design and build the core product — from evidence capture and case management through automated DMCA notice generation and submission — using Claude Code as a core part of the development workflow. What You'll Build • A case management system to track copyrighted works, matched infringing URLs, notice status, and outcomes • Automated/assisted DMCA notice generation with the required statutory legal language • Integrations for submitting takedown and Google Search deindexing requests (API-based where available, form- automation fallback where not) • Evidence capture and storage (screenshots, hashes, timestamps) to support notices and any counter-notice disputes • Content matching/monitoring tooling (reverse image/video search, web crawling, or third-party API integration) to surface infringing copies • An audit trail and reporting layer, given the legal and perjury-liability sensitivity of DMCA submissions • User-facing workflows for identity/exposure decisions (e.g., submitting under a business entity vs. personal name) with clear consent steps Required Experience • Proven experience developing with Claude Code in a professional/production setting • Strong front-end development experience (React or equivalent modern framework) • Strong back-end development experience (Node.js, Python, or similar) building APIs and services • Experience with containerization (Docker) and deploying containerized applications • Comfort working with third-party/legal APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous or queue-based processing • Experience with relational or document databases and designing schemas for auditable, evidence-grade records • Familiarity with authentication, role-based access, and handling sensitive personal/legal data securely Nice to Have • Prior experience with DMCA, IP enforcement, content moderation, or trust & safety tooling • Experience with web scraping, image hashing/perceptual matching, or content-identification systems • Familiarity with Google's Search Console / Content Removal tooling or similar large-platform reporting APIs • Experience building workflow/case-management tools (e.g., legal tech, support ticketing, compliance systems) What We're Looking For • Someone who can own a feature end-to-end — front end, back end, deployment — using Claude Code as a daily development tool • Careful, detail-oriented engineering given the legal weight of the documents this system generates • Strong communication and comfort working directly with legal/compliance stakeholders on requirements To Apply Please share relevant project examples (especially anything involving Claude Code, containerized deployments, or legal/compliance tooling), and your availability
