Developer Needed for Quoting Platform

We are looking for an experienced developer or to build the first phase of a web-based quoting platform for windows and doors. This phase is intentionally focused. It does not include AI, blueprint reading or automatic takeoffs. User experience A user should be able to: Log into a secure account. Create a project. Enter customer, architect and builder information. Add products manually. Enter dimensions and select the product type, configuration, panels, tracks and available options. Receive an accurate price. See a supplied product image. Save, revise and duplicate quotes. Generate a professional PDF proposal. Internal staff will use the same platform with additional permissions. Initial scope The first release will support one limited product family with several variations. Pricing is mainly based on: Square footage Base rates and multipliers Product and configuration selections Track or panel adders Fixed charges Size thresholds Simple conditional rules Approved quote-level adjustments We will provide the approved pricing matrix, product rules, images, branding, quote examples and pricing test cases. The developer must not invent or guess missing prices. The system should be structured so other window and door families can be added later. Important requirements The platform must: Calculate pricing securely on the server. Block unsupported or invalid configurations. Identify missing information. Support pricebook versions and effective dates. Preserve the pricing used on existing quotes. Prevent one dealer from viewing another dealer’s information. Restrict discounts and price changes by permission. Record important quote changes. Pass all supplied pricing tests exactly. Administration Authorized staff should be able to: Manage dealer accounts and users. Publish updated pricing. Activate or deactivate options. View dealer-created projects. Review quote calculations and revisions. Please recommend whether pricing should be managed through CSV import, protected spreadsheet import or an administration screen. Deliverables The finished project must include: Complete source code Client-controlled repository and hosting Dealer and administrator accounts Jobs, quotes and revisions Versioned pricing Professional PDF generation Automated pricing and permission tests Deployment, logging and backups Setup and maintenance documentation Administrator training A post-launch bug-fix period Not included in this phase AI blueprint reading OCR or automatic takeoffs CRM or ERP integration Order processing Payments or electronic signatures Mobile applications CAD or shop drawings Complete product catalog Automatic tax or freight services Sales follow-up automation Show us relevant work Please provide your closest examples involving: Quoting or estimating software Product configurators Rules-based pricing Dealer or customer portals Versioned pricebooks Professional proposal generation For each example, explain what the software did, what you personally built, whether real customers use it and how pricing accuracy was tested.
